The favoured site in the garden is a position offering good views and daylight, but in order for your Revolving Summerhouse to operate correctly this site needs to be level. Construction of a level concrete base is an important but simple task, undertaken by perhaps yourself or local handyman.
On arrival our site crew need to bolt metalwork on to your pre-prepared concrete base. But don't worry if your concrete base is not perfectly level, our site crews come prepared to make it absolutely level and therefore ensure easy rotation of the Summerhouse.
Concrete base thickness
Option (1) - 6” Thick
Option (2) - 4” Thick and Reinforced
These thickness options are independent of the options for base shape set out below.
Concrete base shape
Option (1) - Circular 245cm in diameter
Option (2) - Octagon, 240cm width and all 8 sides 100cm in length
Option (3) - Rectangle or Square
You may wish to add decking, planting or water features around your Summerhouse. If this is the case, a simpler rectangle or square concrete base may be laid, but remember ‘Pygmalion’ needs 280cms within which to rotate and any features planned should be added after we have completed the installation.
