Our company policies and standards aim to ensure the very best ecologically and environmentally standards and use of materials in production. Oil, fossil fuels and minerals take millennia to produce and so they and their products are not renewable resources and continuous use is not sustainable. It takes only 50 years or so to grow a tree. The only material which is sustainable, structural, and beautifully adaptable to so many building requirements is timber:

Using only the highest quality materials, our Revolving Summerhouse is built and designed to last a generation and more. The timber, sourced from sustainable forests, is prefabricated to a high specification ready to install by our specialist professional crews. The exterior walls are factory finished with 2 coats of the weather proofing paint Sadolin, which guards against scuffs and knocks, while offering unrivalled durability and year-round protection from the elements.

Constructed for strength, once installed our Summerhouse weighs over 1000kg, but our Easy Glide mechanism enables you to easily rotate the building to capture the warmth of the sun enabling it to be used for far longer periods of the year without recourse to supplemental heating.

Designed to breathe, our Summerhouses are built by craftsman using sustainably sourced pressure treated external construction timber of insulated double skin design with an inner moisture control membrane that allows the air to circulate and prevent moisture and condensation build-up.

The 5 roofing panels made of exterior grade high density 9mm fibreboard are attached to the roofing frame, which is built using pressure treated 38 x 62mm exterior grade timber. To finish your roof and to create 100% weatherproofing, we use ICOPAL bituminous shingle tiles. UV resistant, these tiles have a glass fibre base coated with oxidised bitumen and surfaced with mineral granules. They are light in weight and once installed do not need any maintenance and conform with European standards for fire rating.

For added safety and warmth, we install double glazed 4mm thick toughened safety laminated glass in the windows and doors.

Finally, our Summerhouse comes with a 2 year guarantee to give you peace of mind.

There are several things you may wish to consider before deciding on where to site your Summerhouse, however one perhaps comes above all others. Our product has been designed to allow you maximum continuous daylight throughout the day and an ideal position would be where you have 360 degrees of uninterrupted view of the sky.

Once you have decided where to site your Summerhouse you shall need to have the concrete foundation base prepared before installation can begin.

Your base should be constructed using these guidelines.
