Garden Sun Studios is a brand of Hayter Garden Studios Limited, an independent, family-run company based in Thames Ditton, just across the river from Hampton Court Palace.

As the manufacturer of Garden Sun Studios products, our company framework is built upon ethical production and environmentally sound practice at every stage of the build and by using only quality sustainably sourced timber, you can rest assured that you are buying wisely.

OUR INSPIRATION - THE REVOLVING VICTORIAN SUMMERHOUSE

First seen in the Victorian era and subsequently made famous by George Bernard Shaw, the revolving summerhouse first became fashionable in the early 20th century. You too can now have a piece of history as Garden Sun Studios bring to you our Summerhouse for the 21st century

George Bernard Shaw wrote 'Pygmalion', as he did many of his plays, whilst in his revolving summerhouse at his home in Ayot St Lawrence, a small village in Hertfordshire. It allowed him continuous natural daylight in which to work and shelter from the wind, valuable for keeping his scripts in order. In recognition of this, we have called our design Pygmalion.

Your Pygmalion Summerhouse might only be a few seconds down the garden path, but it could be a million miles away from the noise and distractions of daily life.
