Unique in design, with an external width of 280cm and a height of 315cm, our revolving design offers almost 6sq. meters of internal open plan space. With double glazed french windows 136cm wide and two long sleek window panels our pentagon design has five sides of equal length and all angles the same at 108°.. Our Easy Glide Revolving Mechanism enables effortless rotation by an adult (most will find that leaning in the right place will get things moving) but there is sufficient inertia in the Summerhouse such that it will remain perfectly stable and totally motionless in normal use. Our product is not a toy and children under the age of 14 years should not be allowed to attempt to move the Summerhouse without parental control

Pre-fabricated at our factory, first the frame for the revolving floor is constructed using exterior grade 50 x 100mm timber. Milled to precision by our staff, this timber is then further treated for weather proofing. Our Easy Glide revolving mechanism is then secured in place, followed by the laying down and varnishing of a mid-brown Brazilian Hardwood floor, 18mm in thickness. All structural framing timbers are 50x 50mm and completed with a weather-proof membrane in the walls and roof. Outer wall cladding is of external grade 19 x 125mm shiplap, finished in a colour of your choice with 2 coats of high performance weather-proofing preservative. Internally clad with medium density 9mm fibreboard, it is finished in pale cream emulsion. Hardwood doors and windows are glazed in double glazed laminated 4mm safety glass and all fixtures / door fittings are stainless steel. It is roofed in felt shingle tiles, over factory weather-proofed exterior grade high density 9mm fibreboard panels.

The studio is fully insulated so it can also be a used as a multi-purpose space away from the summer months. The underside of the floor is insulated using a specialist aluminium foil which meets Class (1) for fire properties, has a thermal resistance of 1.327 M2K/W and is also CFC and HCFC free. Walls are insulated using glass fibre which reduces pollution and conserves the environment, as this form of insulation is made from molten sand and large amounts of recycled glass. With a roof laid using glass fibre based bituminous shingle tiles coated with mineral granules, all you perhaps need now is electricity. Although our installation crew are not qualified to connect you to the electricity mains, we can install a wall socket and then you can arrange for a qualified electrician to connect your mains supply. * Mains Supply via Armoured Cable - Rating at 240V = 16A / 3840W - Standards CE 6943XLH BS 5467

The favoured place in the garden is a position offering good views and daylight. However in order for your Summerhouse to operate correctly, your site needs to be level. Once we have received your enquiry / order we shall e-mail / post you our specification sheet for your laying of the concrete base, an important but simple task undertaken perhaps by yourself or a local handyman. On arrival our site crew need to bolt metalwork on to this base. But don’t worry if your concrete is not perfectly level, our crew comes prepared to correct it if necessary.

It is partially prefabricated at our factory for on-site installation by our specialist crew in under a day. Parking and reasonable access to installation site is required.

For those with a special place in the garden but adjacent to a wall perhaps, we are often asked if we can provide our Summerhouse as a static structure. Yes we can, and shall also reduce our list price by: £500.

We recommend you re-paint every two years with a good exterior preservative like Sadolin.

Our smooth internal walls are finished with 2 coats of a bright light cream emulsion paint to give you optimum natural light …. But you may wish to change the colour mood !
